Roland E. Groder, born in Gardner Maine and raised in Rockland, Maine, moved to St. Croix in 1990 from Middletown, New Jersey after a nine (9) year stint with the Merchant Marines as a Consulting Marine Engineer to the Saudi government. Two years later he met his wife Susan of Naples, Florida and they have been together ever since. He joined Isherwood-San Martin Real Estate as a Sales Associate in 1990 and became a Broker/Owner when the company joined the RE/MAX franchise in 1994. In 1993, he worked with Susan to open AllTemp Agency, which has been helping to place professionals in a number of temporary and permanent positions with various companies throughout the Virgin Islands. As an active member of the St. Croix Board of REALTORS® and the Virgin Islands Territorial Association of REALTORS®, he has volunteered as an instructor for the Graduate REALTORS Institute®, acted as Co-Treasurer of the St. Croix Board of REALTORS® and is currently the President of the St. Croix Board. He is constantly continuing his education in the field of real estate and has gone on to earn his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations.
